I popped into the bar in the afternoon having finished my work for the day early and was greeted by Stacey and looked after very well indeed he guided me through the options on the menu and I settled for some sweet potato wedges with a barbecue dip and a pot of tea. Service was quick and efficient and the potato wedges served very well to quell the hunger prangs of a missed lunch. Stacy was charming, courteous, informative and professional. I was made to feel like the most important guest in the bar. She seems to have an inate understanding of the hospitality business and I am sure she will go far in her career. Additional remarks I was late arriving for breakfast but having noticed my difficulty walking with my leg in a splint a very nice young man by the name Owens went out of his way to look after me like a prince. Nothing was too much trouble. Kind , empathetic, professional a real ambassador for the organisation and testament to the selection, training and day to day management of the hotel. Many thanks. Michael

Located on a one-way street while going away from the city centre, immediately across the river Irwell. Stayed here before Christmas. Just a stone's throw away from the Christmas markets and walking distance of Victoria train station. Friendly service at the front desk. The breakfast buffet is top-notch. I reserve my highest praise for the restaurant manager, his cheerful voice greets you before you even realize his presence, offering a quick snap of the items on offer including dishes which can be served warm. Clearly not looking beyond this hotel on my next visit to Manchester.

Lovely stay. Stayed in one of the updated family rooms with a bed. Had requested via customer services a cot bed- however wasnt supplied when we got there. But lovely staff found one and delivered for us. Room clean and comfortable. Free parking (park is really small) as we have blue badge. Staff helped us register this. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful Hotel in the centre, walking distance to markets and other things to do. Quiet rooms, lovely and warm. Felt safe and secure throughout. Staff cant do enough for guests and really helpful even later at night and early morning! Even offered to hold my baby while i struggled with him crying and trying to eat myself (thank you!). My only small suggestion is to cleaning staff- please consider where you leave trolleys we had to move these daily /several times a day as we couldnt get through the hallway with the stroller. Plenty of other space in hall or could be taken into the rooms being serviced?wouldnt be ideal for single parent or disabled person in wheelchair who couldnt move them as we did. Otherwise would return! Thanks.

We had a one night stay and were really pleased with the hotel. The hotel and our room (a family room) were clean and in good condition. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty - Mike and Lisa were great team members, and Mike was friendly, polite and attentive to all the guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel location was ideal for the city centre, but not too noisy. The car park was a useful facility - it was small but we didn’t struggle to get a space, and on a Saturday. We would stay here again.

5 minute walk or so from Victoria Station. Very central to Market Street and Picadilly. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast sets you up for the day. Never had a problem with any Travelodge.

The hotel was overall good and the rooms were quite spacious. One small issue was the bathroom, the bathtub drain wasn’t working properly, so water built up very quickly while showering. Another downside was the noise. There was a party across from the hotel and it was quite loud at night. Aside from those points, the stay was pleasant and the hotel itself was nice.

We stayed twice at Travelodge Manchester Central and had a great experience both times. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Deansgate with lots of bars and restaurants, and only 10 minutes to the Arndale Shopping Centre and Market Street. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. All the team members were truly helpful and friendly, which made our stay even better. The only minor downside is that the toilets are a bit outdated, it would definitely benefit from a refurbishment. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and we’d happily stay again!
